System Prompt Basics
Use a system prompt to change how Claude responds. Write both a system prompt and a user message to see the difference a system prompt makes.
Your Task
Write a system prompt that makes Claude respond to any question in exactly one sentence. Then ask Claude 'Explain how the internet works.'
Success Criteria
The system prompt must set a behavioral constraint (e.g., one-sentence replies). Claude's response must reflect the constraint.
